Just 40 minutes from Faro Airport
English and Portuguese speaking, Denise was brought up in New Jersey USA, and with the help of her Portuguese parents, has a wonderful set-up just over 5 minutes drive away...
Away from traffic and the tourists you can learn to ride there (we took our friend's kids there last year, it was their first time on a horse and within 20mins they were riding without hands and cantering on a lovely friendly horse).
If you have had a go before, the whole family can go on a half day or whole day escorted trek to really see the countryside, and if you are a bit of a novice or a little nervous Denise can arrange for your horse to have a walker.
If you really know what you are doing you can go for an early morning gallop along the beach, to get you ready and fresh for the rest of the day.
Talking of staying fresh...Bring a swimming costume as they have turned an old disused well into a plunge pool, so you can cool off when you have finished your ride, a perfect end to a great day!
As the Portuguese cost of living is pretty low all of these activities are very affordable, take a look at her price list at the bottom of the page.
Please try to book a few days in advance so Denise can accomodate your needs.
